Zaira A Cole
Zaira A. Cole is a Creative Pattern Cutter originally from Madrid. Zaira moved to London in 2013 to study Fashion Pattern Cutting at the London College of Fashion.
Her career in fashion began with her first job as a Stylist, which then developed to various positions within the industry as a Visual Merchandiser, Product Developer and Pattern Cutter. All these different roles within fashion helped her to have a wide vision of the industry.
She describes her view of pattern cutting as “a puzzle waiting to be solved, where all the pieces need to match in order to create one image”.
Zaira, loves a sunny day, painting, and her new passion, Adobe Illustrator. She has been able to merge passion and career since becoming PatternLab’s newest digital pattern maker!
